Founded by Alayson Phelps, DVM after the success of her Southeast Portland clinic, Brooklyn Yard Veterinary Hospital. She saw an opportunity to fill a niche for compassionate and skilled urgent care services on the west side of the Portland metro area.
Dr. Phelps is passionate about low-stress veterinary care and helping all patients have better veterinary experiences. Spruce Veterinary Urgent Care will be the culmination of her years of clinical practice, both in emergency medicine and general practice, and the continuation of independent practice ownership.
